Koala Calm · Last updated: June 3, 2026

Koala Calm ("the app," "we," "us") is built to be calm and private. We designed it so that your information stays on your device. This policy explains what that means.

The short version

We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal information. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Information stored on your device

Everything you create in Koala Calm is saved only on your device (using Apple's on-device storage) and is never sent to us or anyone else. This includes:

Because this data lives only on your device, we have no access to it. Deleting the app removes it.

Screen Time & Family Controls

The Focus Block feature uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework so that you can choose apps to block during a focus session. Your selection is stored on your device as privacy-preserving tokens provided by Apple, which we cannot read or identify. It is used only to apply blocking on your device and is never transmitted.

Weather

To show ambient weather in your koala's room, the app may request current conditions from the public Open-Meteo service (open-meteo.com) using a fixed, non-personal location. Your real location is never accessed or sent, and no personal information is included in this request.

No tracking or third parties

Koala Calm contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking technologies. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Children's privacy

Koala Calm is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
